Company Profile
Ingersoll Animal Hospital
Company Overview
At Ingersoll Animal Hospital we know first-hand that pets enrich the quality of our lives. Because of this, we work hard to improve the health, happiness, and longevity of our treasured pets by providing the very best veterinary care available in the Des Moines area.
We know a thing or two about veterinary care – we’ve been doing it since 1979! We also know that all the experience in the world, however, cannot replace the most important component of the care we provide – a personal touch and individual attention.
We are a full-service small animal veterinary hospital specializing in providing the best possible medical, surgical, diagnostic and dental care to the dogs and cats of the Des Moines area. We are proud to be an AAHA-accredited hospital, a designation that we feel demonstrates our commitment to always providing the highest level of care and service. We offer a broad range of comprehensive services, from routine wellness care and surgeries to life saving critical care as well as boarding and grooming to provide a more complete package.
Ingersoll Animal Hospital also holds the designation of being a Cat Friendly Practice. Our vets and support staff know that cats are not small dogs. We have worked hard to create an environment within our clinic that is less threatening to cats and meets their unique needs. As a Cat Friendly Practice, we are committed to learning how to make vet visits more pleasant and less stressful for cats.
One of the things we most often hear from our clients, new and old, is how hard we work for them and their pets. We are continually educating. At Ingersoll Animal Hospital, we love seeing new faces and we treasure building relationships with clients and their pets, from energetic kittens and puppies through their memorable senior years and any problems in between.
In addition to Ingersoll Animal Hospital, we opened Pawsitive Strides Veterinary Rehabilitation & Therapy in 2015. Pawsitive Strides is excited to offer rehabilitation services to the Des Moines area. Our facility is run by Nancy Peterson, who is a licensed, experienced Des Moines rehab veterinarian. The Paws team includes an amazing group of technicians certified in everything from massage to rehabilitation therapies!
Our rehab team is committed to individualized care and works hand-in-hand with pet owners to create a comprehensive care plan tailored for each pet. Pawsitive Strides Veterinary Rehabilitation & Therapy has advanced equipment and stays on top of the latest advances in veterinarian rehab technology.
