Holt Veterinary Clinic is an AAHA-Accredited and Fear Free Practice Certified hospital in Dallas, TX near Southern Methodist University. Our 3 doctor practice was established 74 years ago and is recognized by AVMA as an American Heritage Veterinary Practice and by TVMA as a Texas Veterinary Heritage Practice. At the same address since 1946, we completely rebuilt our hospital in 2014 and now practice in a beautiful new facility. Our support staff is long tenured with very low turnover and they are all CVA certified by TVMA.
Company History
Founded in 1946 by JN Holt.
At the same address since its founding.
Dr Holt sold to Dr David Baxter in 1982.
Dr Geoff Bratton began working as a student intern while a junior in high school in 1992.
Dr Baxter sold the business to Dr Bratton in 2010.
The original building was torn down on the front 1/3 of the property in 2014 and a new hospital was built on the back 2/3 of the property.
We became the first clinic in North Texas to achieve both AAHA and Fear Free Practice certification.
