Company History
There was once an old building that served as a community church. That is of course, until it was purchased to be the new neighborhood veterinary practice and that is where our story begins....
Brittmoore Animal Hospital was established in 1967 as a small animal practice that provided generalized veterinary services.
Since then we have become an AAHA hospital and have expanded our services to include all reproductive services, several soft and orthopedic surgeries, sports medicine injuries, dentistries, preventive well visits, dermatology and allergy testing, etc.
Throughout the years the changes in equipment have changed through the new technology that today still continues. We implement new technology to improve our diagnostic results, such as digital radiology, including dental, laser therapy, tonopen, ultrasound, chemistry and progesterone analyzers, to name a few.
All of these changes over these past years have also included adding exceptional staff to help delivery all these services.
Today we have over 40 staff members. Our staff are carefully chosen for not only the position, but also for their contribution to our practice culture. (Vision Statement & Core Values) We have also adopted a learning environment philosophy which includes the externship programs we partner with through various veterinary colleges and veterinary technology schools. We are all forever students.
We also value the balance of time spent between home and work. This respect is seen through our business days of operation and the staff scheduling. Brittmoore Animal Hospital has remained privately owned and a CVPM practice manager is readily available to you.
