Animal Care Clinic is a 5 doctor, small animal general practice on the Central Coast of CA. We are AAHA accredited, Fear Free and Cat Friendly Certified and focus on high quality medicine, team camaraderie and hospitality for our clients. We live each day following the "3 B's": 1) Best First - top quality in all we do; 2) Bring it On - advocate for our clients, our patients and each other as we put in the hard work to "get 'er done" to make our world a better place; and 3) Barrel of Monkeys - we are extremely collaborative in our management style and we know how to have fun!
Company History
Started in 1989 by Dr. Bonnie Markoff, Animal Care Clinic has grown from a single doctor practice in a 1000 sq foot leasehold, to one of the largest practices in our area. We moved into our beautiful 10,000 sq foot hospital in 1999 and now gross about 3 million dollars a year with 4-5 doctors. We have been AAHA accredited for 25 years and were one of the first hospitals in the US to join the Fear Free movement. We are looking forward to a large remodel in the next 12-24 months that will truly set us apart in many ways!
Benefits
Our doctors work 3-4 weekdays plus rotating weekends and have no emergency call. We have one of the highest production based bonus percentages you will find. We pay all dues, memberships and licenses and provide $3500/year in CE coverage including additional paid days away from work. Most importantly, we enjoy an extremely collegial atmosphere with a support team that is not only competent, but happy.
