St. John’s Veterinary Hospital has an opening for a full-time Associate Veterinarian. We are the only AAHA accredited practice in Newfoundland and Labrador, proudly holding our accreditation for 25 years. We are a small animal practice located in the center of the historic city of St. John’s and we have a satellite practice in beautiful Conception Bay South just a 15 minute drive from the city. Newfoundland offers the best of both worlds with a multitude of outdoor activities and scenic views as well as a variety of charming shops and restaurants to discover along with the normal amenities expected in a major city without the long commutes. We are an established practice with 2 owners who also work as full-time veterinarians with over 20 years’ experience each. Our hospital is equipped with Digital radiography, Ultrasound, Tonopen, full surgical suite with Cardell monitors, computerized software (Avimark), and a full Idexx laboratory. There are currently 24 employees working at both practices to support our team and our patients. Our goal is to provide our clients and patients with the highest standard of quality care and service. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package and support a work life balance with flexible scheduling and a minimal amount of emergency on call work. We welcome new graduates who are starting their career with mentorship from our experienced owners and support from our dedicated team as well as experienced Veterinarians looking for a change. The right candidate must work well with the team, display a positive attitude, enjoy working with clients, and have a passion for animal care.
